A Love For Valentine's

by Ashley Spidle

My first Valentine of the year
came from a guy I hardly knew.
He gave it to me with no fear
saying I made this for you.
It said I was sweet,
It said I was kind,
I knew he would complete
my search and find.
He asked if he could be mine
with it saying p.s. available?
I said that would be just fine
My mom said I was able.
Today we are still going,
He is like a white dove
his smile keeps growing
I have found my one true love.

A Rose

by Kim Davis

A rose gives meaning to everyone.
Even through they may differ.
A rose tells me that a symbol
so simple and sweet is on this
earth meant for you to give to me

A Love You Don't See

by Lindsay

Look at me when I look away, see
me in a way you never saw before.
Take me by the hand and let me
show you what I feel.
These are my dreams, my dreams of you.
They linger in my head at night and
someday wait to take flight.

Fine Line

by: Tornado Day

I am a survivor
spreading the truth
more lovers lost to over care
than ever from neglect
desire overwhelming
to make things right
fix that not broken
changes unwarranted
one more touch
one more kiss
one more whispered promise
a fine line appears
crossed again and again
infinite balance
between hope
and destruction
between love
and suffocation

Destiny Calls

by: Tornado Day

let's run away
take our chances
swallow our pride
build on this simple dream

a place in the sun
the desire to grow
time to unwind
secure in our direction

leave the baggage behind
life's disappointments
embracing the future
your hand holding mine

no more regrets
sweet anticipation
destiny calls

let's not
         keep it waiting

A Band Of Happiness

by Greg Phillips

How can I ever tell you
Everything you mean to me
All the little things you do
Sweet words and golden smiles
Make me love you even more
When we're together it's magic
Holding your hand, kissing you
Embracing you, loving you
Experiencing the essence of you
Being with you is all I need
To know my life is complete
You are the woman of my destiny
Savior of my heart and soul
Let me make love to you now
Joining our spirits into one
Sharing our bodies and souls
Creating a band of happiness
A love unbroken by time.

A Band of Happiness

by Kershnie Moodley

How can I ever tell you that
you mean the world to me
All the little things you
sweet words and golden smiles
Makes me love you even more
Being with you is all I need
to know my life is complete

You are my true love

A Key To My Heart

by Elizabeth Bartlett

My heart is a treasure chest
locked deep within
A key that you may enter
is yours to keep
so whenever you should
open it, inside you shall see
stored in a special place
how much you mean to me
Wherever I go it is with me,
In the night where dreams
are sweet ,I see us in a
horoscope of stars,
a future to be ours
Each dawn I awake I see you
in a sunlight of happiness
to be my very own keepsake
You are a treasure I shall
cherish, sealed with my love,
covered with lace.

A Heart Shaped Box

by Kathy Meredith

The big red heart shaped box
Was left at her front door
Little did he know then
He might not see her anymore
He called her on the phone that day
No answer did he get
When the phone kept ringing
He began to sweat
She never went anywhere
Unless she let him know
Thoughts kept running through
his mind
Just where would she go
Another day had ended
The night was closing in
He waited for her to come home
So she'd tell him where she'd been
But she never made it back
So that he could say
I love you with all my heart
Please don't stay away
The heart shaped box was left
there
With the big gold bow
That's the way he wanted it
So that she would know
That she was very special
And that he wanted to say
I wish that you were here with
me
On this Valentines day.....

A LIFETIME OF ROMANCE

by Rhiannon

TODAY IS THE MOST ROMANTIC DAY
OF THE YEAR.. WHEN LOVE FILLS THE
AIR AND HEARTS ARE FULL OF CHEER.

YOU BRING HAPPINESS TO MY LIFE
EACH AND EVERY DAY...
YOUR LAUGHTER, YOUR LOVE,
YOU SHINE DOWN UPON ME EACH
AND EVERY WAY.

A LIFETIME OF ROMANCE I WANT TO
SPEND WITH YOU.. I HOPE YOU KNOW
JUST HOW INTENSE MY FEELINGS
ARE FOR YOU TO.

I CHERISH EACH MOMENT WE CAN
SPEND TOGETHER... OUR BOND BETWEEN
THESE TWO SOULS I KNOW WILL
LAST FOREVER.

YOU ARE MY LIFE, MY BREATH, MY ALL,
MY EVERYTHING... TO YOU I WANT
TO GIVE MY HEART, MY SOUL,
A WORLD OF
HAPPINESS TO YOU I BRING.

MY LOVE GROWS DEEPER FOR YOU
EACH AND EVERY DAY....
I SHALL LOVE YOU A LIFETIME...
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD
EACH AND EVERY WAY.

A Long Good-bye

by Brittney Daab

I know it's hard,
To say good-bye.

I always stand there,
And do nothing, but cry.

Last time,
We said those two words,
It was like I was dying,
Inside from the hurt.

I know that I see you,
Every year.
But it's just not enough,
Your just not that near.

I miss you so much.
The pain just grows.

I can't wait 'til next time,
So you can lift me on my feet.

I know we are sisters,
And we see each other often.
But I just can't bear,
To be without you,
While Talkin.

I know that this,
Will pro'bly make you cry.
But dear 'ol sister,
Just stand by and by.

We will meet again.
You are always in my heart.

Email is not enough,
To show you my heart.

So as we dry,
On each other's shoulder's.
I whisper softly,
I Love You.

A Perfect Night

by Sheldon Leibole

Look upon moonlit skies,
Stars twinkle like fireflies,
Pull your love in and hold them tighter,
Let your heart fly a little lighter,

A comet passes overhead,
You don’t notice for your heart has fled,
Run away with another,
Finally let your love untether,

Stare into love’s eyes,
It’s intent you surmise,
They lean in, a kiss is placed,
A brief moment, their soul you taste,

Alas, time ticks on,
Stars disappear from approaching dawn,
Soon enough your love is gone.

A Picture

by Bob Slater

"A Picture"

A table, two chairs, a bottle of wine,
An orchestra playing my sweet valentine.
This picture has waiters and red roses too
What is it that's missing, it's me love and you
